From Tuesday, June 7th, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to Wednesday, June 15th, 2022 at 12:00 p.m., the L1027 between Steinbach and Glasbachstein will be completely closed for the construction and dismantling of the racetrack.

The detour is via Ruhla- L 1027- Schillerbuche car park- L 1127- Brotterode- Trusetal- L1126- Bad Liebenstein- Barchfelder Straße- L 1027 and vice versa or Eisenach- B 19- Gumpelstadt- Schweina- Bad Liebenstein and vice versa.

 

The Rennsteig area will be closed on June 11, 2022 to June 12, 2022 daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. between the Brotterode junction and Glasbachstein in the direction of Ruhla. During this time, traffic will be via Eisenach - B 19 - Gumpelstadt - Bad Liebenstein or via  Wutha-Farnroda - Mechterstädt - Tabarz - Brotterode - Bad Liebenstein diverted.

 

From Friday, June 10th from 5 p.m. to Sunday, 12.06. at 8:00 p.m. the L 1027 from Schweinaer Höhe including the Steinbach area is closed. The detour is via Thal- B 88- Schwarzhausen- Tabarz- L 1126- Brotterode- Trusetal- Bad Liebenstein- Barchfelder Straße- L 1027 or Eisenach- B 19- Gumpelstadt- Bad Liebenstein.

 

From the Ruhla ski jump to the Glasbachstein (L 2119) and from the Ruhla ski hut to the "Schillerbuche" car park, you can park on the right-hand side of the road during the race from Saturday to Sunday. Due to the paddock in the Steinbach area being closed to public traffic, local traffic will be routed and blocked from Wednesday 12 p.m. to Sunday 8 p.m. There will be no local public transport in Steinbach on the race weekend. Road users are asked to pay attention to the signs and to strictly follow the instructions of the stewards. Visitors cannot drive into the Steinbach area on Saturdays and Sundays. Residents use a transit card to identify themselves. A shuttle service with buses is organized by the organizer on both race days of the weekend from the designated parking spaces to the starting area and to Altenstein Castle. During the breaks in the race, shuttle buses run between the start and finish area. The designated parking spaces in Bad Liebenstein and in front of the Glasbachstein from the direction of Ruhla as well as at the Ruhlaer ski hut and at the Dreiherrenstein are to be used.
